For centuries many cultures have followed the phases of the moon, aligning routines and rituals with these cyclical energies. The Full Moon is known to be nourishing, full of energy, and symbolic of the divine feminine. It is a time to create space, get quiet, reflect and celebrate. During our full moon circle, we align ourselves with these energies.
Please join us for our Full Moon Circle in our beautiful forested setting in Freeport. We will meet next to the parking area to take a short hike (easy, mostly flat) to our campfire location. We will then offer a guided relaxation/meditation around our campfire, followed by an opportunity to reflect upon the past weeks. We will have the chance to write down and, if desired, share aloud challenges, successes and opportunities for growth. We will hold a fire burning ceremony and then take a moon “bath” to soak in the moon’s light (don’t worry - you can leave your clothes on for this!) and finish the evening with some wildcrafted tea. Please bring your own cup for tea.
This full moon circle falls on the night before the full moon, which occurs on October 31st, Halloween. The couple of nights before and after a full moon are known to hold the same full moon energy. The night before a full moon can be helpful in clearing stones or crystals, which you may wish to bring to this circle.
